Just finished a 1,000 mile trip on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, Montana to Colorado. I used this frame bag for my 3 liter water bladder and occasionally added a 2 liter water bladder to the lower section of the bag. The bag worked great, no problems even with the long rough trail and a heavy load. I’d say a great bag for the money.

Just installed a medium road frame bag on my old Thorn Nomad, almost like it was custom made for my 52/54cm frame. Not sure the exact size of the bike as it’s 22 years old. I’ll update review when it gets some use, but the bag looks tough enough for the road trips I’m planning.

The small road frame fits -perfectly- in my 2015 Trek Marlin 7. And it fits an ebike 20Ah triangle battery and, after hacksawing the protruding velcro strap “loops” off the battery, it fits the controller too. Its reassuringly snug, just enough space to wrap an old tire tube around to help with rubbing and bounces.
Overall the bag is lightweight, you almost think TOO flimsy, but based on the materials and construction I believe it’ll be durable. Light is good, after all. And the velcro straps are well integrated parts of the bag – not afterthoughts precariously sewn on.
I lucked way the hell out with the zippers. The zippers are on the right and the on button and charging port for my battery are also on the right. I can feed the wires from the display into the main zipper and the wires from the PAS and motor into the lower zipper. This perhaps is more luck than anything, but give it some thought if you’re buying for an ebike!
Worth every penny.
